What a year 2022 has been! It’s hard to believe that a year ago we were testing a small single-layer lithium sulfur cell — since then we’ve achieved so much.
To celebrate the festive season, we’ve put together a collection of our favourite moments from 2022 below: testing our batteries in a commercial drone high above Deakin University, collaborating with industry specialists from around the world, scaling up single layer to 20-layer cells, building our Phase 2 labs and securing a brand-new factory space to house our 2MWh production facility.
It’s also been exciting to be part of the drive to build momentum for the Australian battery industry, collaborating with the Future Batteries Industry CRC, and co-founding the Advanced Materials & Battery Council.
As we look forward to 2023, we aim to share more exciting news as we continue our cell scale-up, commission our 2MWh production facility and expand our industry partnerships.

With the design completed and the large-scale plant and equipment in manufacture, our new Phase 3 dry room is well on the way. Expected to be the largest in Australia, the 220sqm dry room will house our 2MWh automated cell production facility slated for commissioning in 2023.
